WELCOME TO THE WELSH BRANCH
Established in 1968.
Membership is at 80 members (Sep 24).
Welsh Branch QARANC Association was formed over 50 years ago, drawing members from across Wales, boarder areas and some further afield. Membership currently stands at 80 members representing, Serving and Retired Regulars and Reserves. Many members have associations with 203 (Welsh) Field hospital.
Our aim to uphold the Association Motto “Friendship” is achieved by organising events throughout the year, giving members the opportunity to meet and catch up. These are usually good fun with many recollections and experiences being shared. For those unable to attend events we arrange visits and telephone calls where appropriate. Amongst our regular events are a summer lunch party, Christmas lunch and a boat trip on the Monmouthshire Brecon Canal. Previous events have included visits to places of interest as diverse as Highgrove House and Sennybridge Ranges! The emphasis is on camaraderie, bringing together members and friends in a fun way, generally with food somewhere along the way!
We publish a twice yearly newsletter with articles of interest, recent previous events, Branch news and details of forthcoming events.
